Zojirushi Bread Machine

This is our first bread machine. Done a lot of study and come to the conclusion to buy zojirushi bread machine. Just tried it out this morning around 5:50am after browsing through the manual. My first try is to make green tea flavoured raisin bread loaf. Measure the ingredient and pour in water first and then all purpose flour, sugar, salt, milk powder and raisin, butter, green tea powder. The active yeast is the last one to add. However, in fact, according to some demo on you tube, raisin and nuts should be added after dough is kneaded and there would be some beeps to remind you to add raisin or nuts. I got that wrong. Another mistake I made is not adding the dry ingredients in the cornder. Instead, i spreaded them even around. Not so familar with the machine, I set the cycle incorrectly to just make the basic dough. My first intention is to bake the bread in the machine. Therefore, after the dough was made, I reshaped it and baked it in the oven at 350 degree in the middle rack for around 60 minutes. Regardless all the error I made, the bread loaf came out all right. It's different from the commericial bread sold out there. It's a bit more dense and chewy. For the first try, I gave Zojirushi thumbs up for its forgiveness for my error and the quietness in operation without waking the family up. The taste is ok though I would prefer more green tea flavour. Will keep you guys posted once we bake more different varieties of bread. Keep watching.
